Regular Citrus County Commission Meeting February 26 | Business
Citrus County, Florida-- The Citrus County Commission will meet on Tuesday, February 26 at 1 p.m. at 110 N. Apopka Avenue, Room 100 in Inverness. Beginning at 1:15 p.m., the Board will present Certificates and Proclamations.
- Proclamation declaring March 1 through March 31, 2013 as “March for Meals Month” in Citrus County.
Open to the public will be at 1:30 p.m. Public Hearings will begin at 2 p.m. The first will be Board discussion relating to Nabors, Giblin and Nickerson – representation in matters relating to franchise agreements, stormwater management and utility availability fees.
At 3 p.m. there will be an informational presentation on the function of the Water and Wastewater Authority.
At 3:15 p.m. County Administrator Brad Thorpe will present his fourth budget analysis for the Public Safety budget category. Mr. Thorpe will also have a presentation of the County’s Fleet Management Inventory.

The meeting, which begins at 1 p.m. in the courthouse in Inverness, is televised live on cable TV on Channel 622 on Brighthouse and Channel 9 on Comcast. The agenda is also available beforehand at the Lecanto Government Building and in the Commissioners’ suite on the second floor of the courthouse in Inverness.
