Citizens invited to North Lecanto Highway Corridor Planning Study | Events
Citrus, Florida -- Citrus County is preparing a planning study for a corridor segment of North Lecanto Highway (CR 491). The segment, designated as the CR 491 Corridor Planning Project, extends from SR 44 north to CR 486.
The study will identify needed infrastructure improvements in order to provide a strategic planning approach, which will guide development along the corridor and its future widening.
The study will include travel necessities, public water and sewer amenities, comprehensive storm water management systems, and other essential utility services.
Citizens are invited to participate in a community workshop to guide the development of this segment of CR 491.
The workshop provides a forum of interested citizens an opportunity to discuss the major infrastructure issues and challenges, and ultimately to develop consensus on strategies to address these issues and challenges. The emphasis of this workshop is on needed infrastructure improvements within this corridor segment.
The workshop is schedule at the Lecanto Government Building at 3600 W. Sovereigh Path, Room 166 on Jan. 31, 2013, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
