Salvation Army continues to service storm victims

Lutz, Florida-- The Salvation Army continues to feed and distribute clean-up and personal hygiene kits to residents displaced by Tropical Storm Debby.

The Salvation Army says their canteens (kitchens on wheels) have fed residents in Wakulla, Suwannee and Citrus counties.

Salvation Army volunteers and staff are working in conjunction with the American Red Cross and local emergency managers to make sure residents in local shelters are being properly hydrated and fed.

According to a recent release, they distributed more than 1,000 clean up kits to residents, and expect to serve meals in Live Oak, Lake City and Citrus county today.
