Tornado reports from Citrus County | News
Citrus County, Florida -- The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for northwestern Citrus County and southern Levy County that expired at 2:30.
The NWS says the tornado will be near Inglis, Crystal Manor and Citronelle.
At 2:11 p.m., local law enforcement reported the tornado near Inglis, 10 miles northwest of Crystal River. It is moving east at 20 mph.
If you are in the path of the tornado go to a small interior room in a strong and well constructed building. Cars and mobile homes are not safe. If no shelter is available, lie flat in a ditch or culvert and cover your head with your hands.
