Citrus Co., FL-- Citrus County Housing Services is offering an Energy Conservation Awareness Program in conjunction with their Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).

  • Find out where and how you can get the most cost effective energy results at your house.
  • Learn where most energy is typically wasted, and how energy flow works.
  • Build your own energy saving priority list with your most cost effective choices so you can cut your electric costs.

Two hour and a half sessions will be offered in the evening and the daytime for participant’s convenience. The first is Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. and again on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Both will be located at the Citrus County Resource Center in Lecanto, located at 2804 W. Marc Knighton Court.

LIHEAP consumers and the public are invited to participate in this free program to learn helpful tips for lowering home energy bills, conservation, and weatherization assistance. Seating is limited. Please reserve your seat by calling (352) 527-7530.  Any person who requires special accommodations (ADA) must provide at least a 72 hour notice.
