Inverness, Florida -- You can experience living history demonstrations, period arts and crafts, and Second Seminole War battle reenactments on Saturday, March 17.

It's taking place at Fort Cooper State Park, located at 3100 S. Old Floral City Road, Inverness.

The event runs from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.   Second Seminole war re-enactments depicting the events that took place during the construction of the fort will be held twice daily at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.  1830 – 1840 era Living History demonstrations will be held throughout the day.  There will be period arts & crafts, exhibits, demonstrations, entertainment, great food and refreshments. 

We recommend you arrive an hour prior to the above reenactment times to ensure full viewing. Transportation is available for mobility impaired visitors.
