Citrus County, Florida-- Housing Services is offering an Energy Conservation Awareness Program in conjunction with their Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Citrus County Housing Services is within the Department of Community Services under the Board of County Commissioners.

This program will show you how to get the most cost effective energy results at your house.  Learn where most energy is typically wasted, and how energy flow works.  Build your own energy saving priority list with your most cost effective choices so you can cut your electric costs.  Become informed about Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity.

A one hour and a half session will be offered in the evening on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 5:30pm at the Citrus County Resource Center in Lecanto, located at 2804 W. Marc Knighton Court.  The program will feature an Energy Services Specialist from Sumter Electric Cooperative as well as a representative from Master Money Mentors.

LIHEAP consumers and the public are invited to participate in this free program to learn helpful tips for lowering home energy bills, conservation, and weatherization assistance. Seating is limited.  Please reserve your seat by calling (352) 527-7530.   Any person who requires special accommodations (ADA) must provide at least a 72 hour notice.
